NVivo 7 Training

We have now (mainly) stopped running Nvivo training. If you would like group training in Nvivo please email realities@manchester.ac.uk with a few details of what you are looking for and we will pass them on our tutor who might be able to help.

For individual training you could have a look at:

NVivo 7: Introduction

By the end of this course you will be able to:

• Create a new project
• Add documents and memos
• Link external files
• Add attributes to your documents
• Create nodes
• Code your data
• Carry out simple coding queries

Please bring along your own data if you have any.

NVivo 7: Intermediate

By the end of this course you will be able to:

• Organise your documents into sets
• Add annotations to your data
• Auto code your documents
• Carry out complex searches
• Create models
• Create relationships between your data elements
• Produce reports

In order to register for this course you should have taken the introductory course above, or be confident with the following:

• Creating new documents
• Adding attributes
• Creating nodes
• Coding your data
• Simple coding queries

Please bring along your NVivo project.
