New working paper: Assessing Satisfaction

"On a scale of 0 to 5, how satisfied were you with..." This new working paper looks at some of the issues that arise in research attempting to measure and define satisfaction using numerical scales. The paper draws on a project which used multiple research methods to explore parents' satisfaction with the care they received after discovering that their unborn baby had a serious abnormality. The paper is by Josephine Green (University of York) with with Helen Statham and Wendy Solomou (Centre for Family Research).
