Vital Signs: Keynote speakers - Carolyn Steedman

Biography

Carolyn Steedman is Professor of History at the University of Warwick. Her most recent book Master and Servant: Love and Labour in the English Industrial Age, was published in 2007. Her three year ESRC Research Professorship ended in September 2007. Its results will be published by Cambridge University Press as Servants of Society: Domestic Service and the Making of Modern England in 2009.
